Group Workshops

There are many benefits to attending group therapy sessions compared to personal therapy. Not only is it a lower cost option but it enables you to be around others who may have shared similar experiences which can feel reassuring. 


My group sessions and workshops are small and confidential and offer you the space to explore what might be holding you back in life, so you can look to explore new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving.


The idea of participating in group therapy might seem intimidating but group therapy can be very beneficial and regularly talking and listening to others can help you put your own problems in perspective. It can be a relief to hear others discuss what they're going through to realise you're not alone.

Psycho-educational Workshops & Therapy Sessions

My workshops and group therapy sessions I run are Psycho-educational. They are designed to help raise your awareness about the way you think and behave, which may not be beneficial to you. 


Sessions start with a brief introduction to some basic theory to help you think about how your behaviour may be getting in your way, so you can explore new ways of being. Group discussions explore how the theory relates to you and the issues you face so you can explore your thinking and feeling.

Low Self-Esteem and Anxiety

Groups counselling can help you explore in a safe and confidential space why you have low self-esteem or anxiety and look at ways of understanding any confidence issues, so you can make changes. 

Weight Issues

Understanding why you under or over eat can be a key factor to help you change your habits. Meeting with a group of individuals whom all face similar concerns can be a good way to explore why you have developed eating issues.   

Lack of Confidence

Are you a new parent who wants to get back to work after having a baby but lacks confidence? Sharing your experience with others going through the same issues can be useful.

Details

· Group sessions are weekly and run for 10 weeks. 

· Group counselling - Starting from £20.00/person (1 hour and 30 minute / 2 hour sessions depending on group size). Minimum group number required. 

· Minimum group number required.

· Over 18's only.
