Transactional Analysis is the type of Counselling and Psychotherapy that I practice. I am passionate about Transactional Analysis and believe it can help clients achieve change on many different levels. I work with clients cognitively, behaviourally and relationally which has a range of advantages in that it offers different ways of working that can tackle different issues. For example, it allows us to work together to help you manage anxiety more effectively, raise your awareness so you can start to see when and why it is triggered which can help reduce panic attacks. You may also find relief from somatic complaints that might be caused by anxiety and stress.
For many, relieving anxiety and reducing panic attacks is enough and enables them to get back on with living. For others, relief from such day to day struggles enables them to have the capacity to then work on more deep seated issues.
Transactional Analysis also has some great tools to help client’s start to recognise why they keep getting into the same patterns time and again, this could be failed relationships, arguments with colleagues at work or a need to please other people at your own expense. Our work together would aim to help you recognise when you do this, start to understand why and in time explore how you can behave differently for a different outcome.
I have a Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherpeutic Counselling and am a qualified Counsellor. I am also a Trainee Psychotherapist practicing in West London.
