I have been approved as an approved insurance counsellor and approved insurance psychotherapist by the following insurance companies: AXA Health and Vitality Health.
If you would like to work with me, then please follow the instructions listed below.
How it Works
1. Contact your insurer and check if your policy covers you for counselling or psychotherapy consultations.
2. Once your insurer has confirmed that you can proceed, please give me your insurer policy/membership number and authorisation code, which I will need to book your appointment. Your insurer may also advise the number of sessions that will be covered. We will then decide together when we can arrange sessions and if you wish to meet in person or remotely.
3. I will liaise with your insurance company with regards to payments. You might be advised by them that you have an excess on your policy, which means that you may have to contribute directly to me for part of the payment. This depends on your policy.
4. I will also need to know your GP details, your address and date of birth.
5. You will have been allocated a certain number of sessions. If you feel this is not enough, and your policy allows, I can submit for an extension to the work. Alternatively, we can discuss continuing on a self-funded basis.
